2006 Status Report on NIDRR Grantees and Knowledge Translation
This report focuses on three key principles of knowledge translation (KT): relevance, rigor, and their relationship in the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) approach to KT. It draws on four surveys the National Center for the Dissemination of Disability Research (NCDDR) conducted that explore NIDRR grantees' attitudes, knowledge, and capacity regarding the following areas: (1) A needs-sensing survey gathering data about NIDRR grantees' technical assistance needs as related to KT; (2) logic modeling; (3) research methods; and (4) significant accomplishments as defined in NIDRR's Annual Performance Report (APR). The survey on logic modeling was conducted in collaboration with RUSH staff and includes data on the impact of workshops on logic modeling RUSH co-sponsored.
